The Kai Electric Knife Sharpener has been uniquely designed to grind and polish Shun double-beveled knives at the same time. It is one of the most convenient Sharpening Systems on the market.

Each pass through the sturdy groove first draws your knife through a coarse ceramic wheel that re-shapes the edge of your knife and then through a fine ceramic wheel that hones it, reapplying that razor sharp factory finish with only a few quick swipes.

The Grinding Mechanism on the Kai Electric Knife Sharpener is removable for easy cleaning and the machine itself features rubber feet to prevent slippage and a clear plastic cover that protects it from gathering dust in storage.

Note: Cleaning Instructions:

The whetstone module is easily removed from the base unit for effortless cleaning by rinsing under a tap to remove grinding debris.  Replacement whetstone modules are available.
