Now this pan is coated with Swiss Diamond’s new XD formula, which contains 20 percent more diamond crystals than the previous HD coating. This results in years of trouble-free cooking and easy clean up. Warm soapy water and a sponge is all you will need to keep your Swiss Diamond cookware sparkling clean! Swiss Diamond XD also features a significantly improved seal between the cooking surface and the aluminum base.

The cast aluminum body is highly durable, and provides the foundation for maximum heat transferability. Because the body transfers heat so efficiently, you never need to use more than low-medium heat, reducing energy consumption. The heat-tempered glass lid makes it easy to keep an eye on your food and features an adjustable steam vent for advanced moisture control. The thick cast aluminum walls distribute heat evenly and efficiently. The wide bottom of this Induction Nonstick Braiser allows you to sear a large cut of meat on the stovetop, and then braise the meat in the oven.
